PEMB Erector – Commercial Site
Location: Winona, MN
Pay: $30 – $36 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: A few months, with potential to move to other jobsites based on performance
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Job Overview:
We are hiring experienced PEMB Erectors for a commercial project in Winona, Minnesota, starting November 3rd. This position involves erecting Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) including setting beams, columns, rafters, girts, and installing metal sheeting. Those who perform well may have opportunities to transition to additional job sites after the project ends.
Responsibilities:
Erect structural PEMB components: beams, columns, rafters, and girts
Assemble and bolt steel connections
Install metal siding, roofing, and wall sheeting
Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Collaborate with the crew to stay on schedule
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience erecting PEMBs or working in structural steel
Proficient in bolted connections, framing, and sheeting installation
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, or scaffolding)
Must have basic hand tools and proper use of PPE is required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-vis vest, work boots)
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Strong work ethic and ability to start promptly at 6:00 AM
