Position Description
At the Mansion Hill Inn, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service. We strive to create extraordinary and lasting experiences for each of our guests within the walls of the most luxurious boutique hotel in Madison. The Innkeeper position is essential in ensuring our guests have a truly incredible experience. While providing the highest level of customer service to our guests, Innkeepers are also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Inn which include: maintaining the cleanliness of common and employee spaces, bar tending, assisting with reservations, responding to inquiries over phone and email, and assisting with other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a deep sense of empathy for our guests needs, thrive in a team setting, approach their work with a sense of urgency, and be able to adapt and problem solve on the fly. Previous customer service experience is a plus, but we welcome candidates of all experience levels to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service to our guests
Respond to inquiries over the phone and via email
Maintain cleanliness of common and employee spaces
Keep a working knowledge of our beer, wine and whisky offerings
Act as our guests’ personal concierge to provide the highest quality recommendations for restaurants and activities in Madison
Create and modify guest reservations
Schedule
We are currently seeking a candidate for our 3-11pm and 1-9pm shifts Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Part-time.
Requirements
A passion for customer service
Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Highschool diploma or GED
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
A collaborative spirit and team-oriented mentality
