We are looking for someone energetic, creative, and passionate about engaging elementary-aged youth through hands-on arts experiences. This role is perfect for someone who loves visual arts, music, movement, and helping kids express themselves in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Position Highlights:
Part-time during the school year (about 20 hours per week)
Opportunity for full-time hours during summer
Hourly pay: $18 to $21 depending on experience
Mondays: 12:45–5:45 PM
Tuesdays: 1:00–5:45 PM
Wednesday–Friday: 2:00–5:45 PM
What you’ll do:
Plan and lead arts-based activities for our After School Program
Create developmentally appropriate, culturally inclusive experiences
Incorporate SEL learning to support emotional and social growth
Maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of 80 Hours or 3 Credits in Early Childhood Education as required by the State of Wisconsin
Experience working with school-age youth
Background in visual arts, dance, movement, or music
Foundational knowledge of child development
CPR/First Aid Training
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Patience, creativity, flexibility, and strong communication
(Wil-Mar will assist qualified candidates in meeting the Early Childcare Ed and CPR/ First Aid requirement)
