Once on the job, your pay is evaluated every six months to ensure you’re rewarded for outstanding performance!As a Technician Trainee you will: Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way, through hands-on and classroom training, including:Installing and repairing auto glassRecalibrating automotive safety systemsProviding additional services & productsStudy and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician showing proficiency in installations, embracing a positive attitude and following taught techniques.Safely operate a company vehicle and company-issued tools utilized throughout the workday.What you’ll get:Competitive weekly pay starting at $22.75/hour, increasing to $28/hour after training and certification.Earn $5/set of wiper blades when added for customer safety.Potential to be promoted in your first year! Earn up to $32.25/hour as a Senior Tech & up to $38.75/hour as a Master Tech. Technician career levels determined based on performance metrics demonstrating efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.A benefits package valued at more than $10k. The target candidate for this position is a range of installation personnel including but not limited to: installers, project managers, and designers who possess the following qualifications: Must be a member of North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Associate\'s Degree in Solar Technology or equivalent job experience. Master Electrician. Installation Professional Certification preferred. Minimum of three years related experience. Must have and keep a valid Wisconsin driver\'s license. Strong communications skills. Strong organizational skills. Detail-oriented approach to all work performed. Must be able to work independently. Knowledge and Skills to be Acquired. Must demonstrate good tact, poise, and a courteous, competent manner in relationships with customers. Must demonstrate specific knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems. Must demonstrate excellent ability to diagnose trouble in equipment. Must demonstrate good initiative, good work planning, and organization of own work.
