Description Azure Architect (12+ Month Contract)We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Consultant to join our team on a 12+ month contract. You will work alongside a Senior Developer/Partner but are expected to operate independently. The role is highly autonomous, and you will be setting and achieving 3-week goals and milestones under the guidance of the manager.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of existing Jenkins, F#, Fake, and Powershell-based processes to Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines.
Transition F# to Make and migrate infrastructure management to Pulumi, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates.
Architect and implement secure and scalable Azure environments, managing Azure resources effectively.
Replace legacy Fake Powershell with modern, efficient solutions in Azure.
Drive continuous improvements in Azure DevOps pipelines with a focus on automation, infrastructure as code, and scalability.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth and secure deployments using Azure key management, secrets, and IP restrictions.
Required Skills:
Azure Pipelines expertise is a must.
Experience with Pulumi (or Terraform) for Azure resource management.
Strong understanding of F# (recent work experience preferred).
Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps: key vaults, secrets management, IP restrictions, and deployment pipelines.
Proficiency with YAML for configuring pipelines.
Deep understanding of Azure infrastructure and current deployment methodologies.
Experience with transitioning from legacy tools and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Bicep or ARM templates for infrastructure management.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage infrastructure complexity.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide stakeholders on best practices in Azure DevOps.
Environment & Setup:
Working closely with an experienced Senior Developer/Partner.
You will be instrumental in modernizing legacy infrastructure and processes within Azure.

Requirements Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology is required. Strong knowledge of YAML is essential. Demonstrated experience with Azure Pipelines is mandatory. Familiarity with Nuke is necessary. Proficient in Azure DevOps. Experience with Azure Blob Storage is a must. Able to work collaboratively in a team and also work independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
