A background in general maintenance tasks

Understanding and ability to use tools and machinery to perform tasks

Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems quickly

Strong documentation skills

The essential job duties are:

Performs complex corrective and preventive maintenance tasks

Troubleshoots and repairs all engine-powered equipment and vehicles

Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs all low voltage electrical equipment

Construct projects from blueprints or conceptual drawings requiring the operation of cutting, drilling, or shaping tools

Accurately documents corrective and preventive maintenance actions in facility monitoring systems as well as on work orders

Interacts professionally with facility staff in planning corrective actions

Procure materials for assignments

Other related duties as assigned

What do we look for?

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance related capacity

Knowledge and skills in shop and hand tool use, care and maintenance

Experience with a maintenance management systems and documentation skills required
