Description We are seeking a skilled Crystal Reports Writer for an urgent project. The Crystal Reports Writer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Crystal Reports that provide valuable insights and data visualization to support decision-making processes within our organization. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of databases and reporting tools.Key Responsibilities:

Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports to meet business requirements and specifications.

Data Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather reporting requirements, understand data sources, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).

Data Extraction: Extract and manipulate data from various data sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to populate reports accurately.

Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models and database connections to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reporting data.

Formatting and Visualization: Develop reports that are visually appealing and easy to understand by applying appropriate formatting and visualization techniques.

Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Automation: Implement report automation processes to generate and distribute reports on a scheduled basis.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and report specifications.

Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues with existing reports and data sources.

User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on report access and usage.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand reporting requirements and priorities.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in Crystal Reports development and report writing.

Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of database concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data visualization and reporting best practices.

Experience with data extraction and transformation from multiple data sources.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Experience with other reporting tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., SSRS, Tableau, Power BI).

This is a long-term contract role that is based in Wisconsin.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically working with Crystal Reports. Demonstrated proficiency in Crystal Reports and SAP Crystal Reports. Strong report writing skills, with an ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Extensive experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. An understanding of data structures and databases, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
