Description Do you have a solid background in relational databases? Are you thrilled at the idea of designing, building, and developing database architecture? Robert Half is seeking a Database Developer with a strong command of query writing and an interest in developing systems. This Database Developer role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity that is based in the Columbus, Wisconsin area.What you get to do every day
Plan out, code, and design relational databases
Supply documentation and training to the Database Administrator. Also, provide training to other users when requested
Build an efficient data storage method for the database
Create a database schema based on application-related function and data type Requirements - 5+ years working as a Database Developer or a related role
Understanding and know-how to fix potential issues, and background with industry standards for database operations
Solid grasp of query coding and relational databases
Financial data experience
Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Proven knowledge of extract transform loads
Well-founded grasp of AS400
Experience with database development
Foundational knowledge in data processing
