Includes resources, delivery and PC of major digital upgrade programs for I&C Installation product Line. Meet or exceed project delivery requirements as it pertains to schedule, costs, and margin as sold. Manage a team of Project Managers ensuring utilization objectives are achieved.Your Day to Day:
Manages portfolio of Major Utility Digital Upgrade Installation Projects including cross functional projects
Supports I&C Installation Operations Manager
Develops/ reviews project management and cost/ scheduling estimates and schedules
Conducts projects "Kick off Meetings" and regular operational project reviews to ensure projects are on and meet schedule and cost objectives. Ensures that deviations are promptly addressed
Interfaces directly with customer to provide project status, strategy, schedule and quality updates as required
Ensure prompt resolutions of issues submitted to the CAP program
Demonstrates strong Nuclear Safety Culture
Ensures timely management and prosecution of project changes to corporate policies
Participates in Client project review meetings where appropriate/warranted to ensure client/project/objectives are achieved
Ensures the Project Managers are properly trained and is proactive in "lesson learned" and individual PM development
Regularly Interacts with Clients, Product Lines Manager(s), WEC Account Managers in response to proposal initiatives, "Cross-Selling", and client business developmentWho You Are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business or related field.
10-15 years of corresponding Nuclear Power Project Management or related experience required.
Related Field experience a plus.
PMP certification or ability to obtain within 6 months a Plus.
Experienced in managing engineering or EPC projects up to ten million dollars or larger
Knowledgeable of NSSS and especially BOP systems, structures, and components.
Knowledgeable in utility processes, procedures, and governing regulations including NRC requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience with Nuclear/INPO Standard Design Change Process IP-ENG-001
Strong conflict resolution experience and skills
Knowledgeable of SAP systems or equivalent programs a plus
Experienced in P6 and other contemporary cost and schedule performance-based management systems
Experienced in developing engineering workhour estimates, schedules, and corresponding pricing, risk management and contingency development
Strong people skills including oral and written communications
Strong negotiation skills a plus
Experience in planning and cost and scheduling systems
