This Governance position serves as the primary point of contact for highly specialized, complex, high-risk, and strategically important governance strategies. You will be responsible for policies, procedures, standards, and rules associated with procurement governance. Through governance you will be responsible for establishing and supporting governance frameworks related to operations, administration, ethics, risk management, and compliance within AmFam Group Procurement. You will develop long-term governance plans and strategies that enable the business unit to successfully achieve its objectives.Position Compensation Range:$84,000.00 - $139,000.00Pay Rate Type:SalaryCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.Primary Accountabilities
Policy & Governance:
You will establish, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Procurement Policy and Governance Framework, including communications for procurement.
You will proactively support compliance with internal audits, DOI, and regulatory procurement requirements.
Quality Assurance:
You will collaborate with Procurement team members to develop and provide quality assurance over the governance metrics process.
Relationship Management:
You will establish, develop, and maintain productive relationships with assigned business unit leaders to understand their strategies, business objectives, and operations.
You will develop long-term governance plans and strategies in alignment with business unit needs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
You will build consensus and support among key stakeholders for risk, value, and process improvement opportunities associated with assigned categories.
Category Planning & Strategy:
You will develop annual and long-term governance plans and strategies in partnership with key stakeholders.
You will proactively identify, develop, and qualify governance opportunities based on spend, internal demand, cost models, market intelligence, value, opportunity, risk, and resource availability.
Coaching & Advising:
You will coach and advise the AmFam Group team on advanced governance and project management practices and strategies to improve overall supply management capability.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Demonstrated experience applying supplier performance management and strategic sourcing techniques or equivalent. Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and agreements. Demonstrated experience conducting detailed analysis of financial and operational data, interpreting information and developing conclusions and implications. Demonstrated experience managing or leading complex projects. Demonstrated experiencing supporting internal and or external audits and supporting management action plans in support of such audits. Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools. Solid knowledge and understanding of goods and services contract terms. Solid knowledge and understanding of policy and process documentation and implementation amongst various stakeholders. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office suite of products.
