Description Robert Half is working with a company in the Paper/Packaging field, to find a Network Engineer with technical expertise in networking hardware and software. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail and a firm grasp of interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. Located in the Madison, Wisconsin area, this Network Engineer role is an opportunity for long-term contract / temporary to hire employment.Key responsibilities
Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks
Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods
Maintain a secure transfer of data to a variety of locations via internal and external networks
Initiate and manage network test facilities
Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers Requirements - 5+ years networking experience
Preferred skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
Cisco Certified Network experience
Microsoft Office 365 experience required
O 365 experience
Cisco Hardware experience
