We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Drafting Technician to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying complex technical drawings and 3D models using advanced CAD software. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient drafting support for various projects.What You Will DoTransform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction documentsDraft detail drawings of marinas, wharfs, bulkhead walls, piers, bridges, ferry terminals, hydraulic structures, structures (steel, concrete, timber & masonry) and shoreline construction (beaches, nourishment, revetments, breakwaters)Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established CAD standardsInteract and coordinate with all stakeholders (engineers, sampling group, construction, clients, subcontractors, government agencies, etc.)
