The Senior IT Internal Auditor provides value-added service by evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana’s operational processes.The Senior IT Internal Auditor audits information systems technology and applications to ensure that IT controls and are designed and operating effectively to provide the necessary minimum safeguards needed to mitigate risk. This role advises others on information systems, key IT internal controls and cyber security procedures and related processes. The Senior IT Internal Auditor executes the audit plan and prepares reports for management on the results of IT risk audits, providing recommendations on improvements and efficiencies identified.Detailed role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct operational, compliance, and investigative IT audits that may require in-depth evaluation and judgment within multi-cloud environment (e.g. MS Azure, AWS, GCP), as well as on-premise systems.

Determine the scope of audits to best evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems and controls under audit

Participate in the development of the risk-based audit plan, including risk identification

Review audit work papers and communicate the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management

Develop and maintain productive relationships throughout the company and within the department

Assess the need for data analytics on engagements and ensure execution

Provide constructive on-the-job feedback and mentoring throughout projects to staff and interns

Identify audit issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and effectively work with business partners to remediate outstanding issues Supervise day-to-day engagement team while establishing own work priorities and timelines

Provide leadership to departmental committees and initiatives

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or equivalent. 3 or more years of IT risk audit or consulting experience or closely related field

Strong knowledge of IT General Controls

Understanding of IT audit standards and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO, NIST, etc.) and data security and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, etc.)

Proficiency in written and oral communication and the capability to communicate effectively and comfortably at all levels.

Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects

Likes to focus on the "big picture" and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

Implementation and execution skills; troubleshooting skills

Aptitude for establishing working relationships with associates within the department and the business

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

CISA Certification is preferred. CISSP, CISM or other technical/IT security certifications are a plus.

Advanced degree preferred

Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience a plus. Prior experience with data analytics tools, including but not limited to, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R & Python

Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$94,900 - $130,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
