Pay Rate: $18.66 per hour
Location: Madison, WI
Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts available; includes weekends and special events.
Position Summary:
The Cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and pride in presentation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards.
Maintain proper portion control and food safety procedures.
Ensure quality, temperature, and presentation of food items.
Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies.
Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment after use.
Follow directions from supervisors and work as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
Prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred.
Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or events.
