Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part Time or Full Time dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team at an independent pizzeria in Waunakee. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an attention to detail, who enjoy preparing quality food and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Starting Rate of pay is $15-$17 per hour plus cash tips (tips average $3/hr extra on top of hourly rate)
Shifts available:
Sunday 4 PM to 8:30 PM
Monday 10 AM to 8:30 PM
Tuesday 10 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday 4 PM to 10 PM
Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM

Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, restocking and following recipes
- Prepare orders, as they are received, in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth coordination in the kitchen
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Working as a team and efficiently with other staff members. Keeping kitchen clean and well stocked Weekend and Evening hours are Required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods is preferred but not necessary
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be available to work some hours on the weekend.
