Red Rooster, a live music venue on the Madison's East side, is looking to expand our kitchen staff! We are looking for the following positions: Prep Cook/Line Cook, Dishwasher/Food Runner. The prep cook/line cook is in charge of managing and handling raw and prepared food alike, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and order with all products and equipment following proper sanitary guidelines, keeping food safety at its highest level and catering to our guests with speed, skill and grace!
Dishwasher/food runner is expected to maintain a level of cleanliness and organization with all products including food and dishware, deliver the correct food items to the right tables, keep a sanitary and clean dish area and help the cooks/bartenders with needs in the kitchen and bar.
Compensation is paid weekly, tips are frequent to kitchen staff, free shift meal, reasonable and manageable hours with full and part time positions available to the right candidate(s)! Pay negotiable, but ranging from $12 - $14 for dishwashing/food running, and $15 - $20 for prep cooking/line cooking depending on experience and availability. Our kitchen hours are from 3pm to 9pm and we're open 6 days a week and the shifts will range from a start time around 12-2pm, depending on the daily tasks, and an end time around 10-11pm depending on the closing procedures.
