Our client is searching for a temporary, full-time Claims Service Assistant to work in a government office on the near Eastside that serves to advance and protect Wisconsin’s workforce. This position offers in-person work, eventually transitioning into a hybrid-remote role.
Responsibilities
· Handle incoming correspondence.
· Attach incoming documents to correct claim.
· Route documents for further review in accordance with Division policy and established workflows.
· Record receipt of requested information.
· Maintain accurate journal entries recording received documents.
· Contact sender by mail, telephone or email when appropriate to obtain legible copies.
Qualifications
· At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in an administrative/clerical role.
· Proficiency with Microsoft – including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Proficiency in a PC Window environment.
· Ability to work in a team and maintain working relationships with co-workers and division staff.
· Effective oral and written communications.

Other Information
· Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
· Shift: 7:45am – 4:30pm, Mon-Fri
· Pay: $13-14/hour – depending on experience
· Location: Downtown Madison, WI
Qualified candidates may have prior experience working as an office assistant, data entry clerk, office clerk, clerical assistant, secretary, receptionist, or administrative assistant.
