Capitol Lakes, a continuing-care retirement community in the heart of downtown Madison, has an opening for a full-time Admission Nurse on 2nd shift (11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.) Hours may vary depending on the needs of the facility. The Admission Nurse is responsible for assuring new residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility have a seamless, coordinated and customer service oriented admission completed according to Nursing Standards of Practice. The Admissions RN is responsible from the introduction to Capitol Lakes to assessments, base line care planning to entering assessments in the computer. Time management is essential as this role could be responsible for completing up to more than 2 admissions/day.Valid state Registered Nurse license.Experience as an RN in a SNF/Sub-Acute Rehab setting preferred but not required.Must possess a current valid Oregon Driver's License and be insurable by PRS's insurance carrier.Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
