Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a Per-Diem basis in our Cardiac Rehab department.
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for supervising, monitoring and providing a safe exercise environment for Phase II/III Cardiac, SET for PAD, and Primary Prevention rehabilitation patients.
Essential Functions:
Provides appropriate evaluation for Phase 2 patients
Identifies problems and develops individualized exercise prescription (ITP) in accordance with ACSM/AACVPR guidelines and physician recommendations.
Ability to perform and accurately interpret resting and exercise EKG.
Provide treatment based on the treatment plan.
Educate patient and family regarding treatment plan and goals
Coordination of care
Position Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Master’s Degree
Certification: Current BLS certification. Prefer current ACLS certification.
Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
