HOURS: 5:00 pm-9:00pm. Typically employees work 2-5 evenings per week.
SALARY: Beginning $20-$23/hour depending on skill level. Potential for earned raise.

ABOUT YOU:
You are a committed, motivated person who communicates well and is easy-going. As my Caregiver, you assist with exercises and standing practice, personal care, helping with dinner, and an evening routine that involves changing for bed, range of motion, and setting me up to sleep, and other duties. Don’t be concerned if you are not familiar with these procedures; I enjoy training my helpers and I am very good at it.
ABOUT ME:
I am an easy to get along with (most of the time) 70-year-old woman who became quadriplegic around 12 years ago. My brain continues to refuse to accept that I can no longer engage in my previous activities which included athletics both indoors and outdoors, home projects like cooking, baking and gardening, as well as an in-depth and fun career. Luckily, I am happy to do anything involving physical exertion, such as standing practice, passive and active range of motion, strengthening and stretching muscles, going for walks (jogging with a friend by keeping my chair at their pace). I yearn to do more. I can move forward only with the help of committed and compassionate people. I also thrive on humor and laughing. I hope you do too!
REQUIREMENTS:
Physically healthy and strong
Personal reliable transportation, Valid driver's license, and insurance
CNA is valuable; previous experience not required, but helpful
