Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an MRI Technologist to join our team on a Full-Time basis.
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures including computer and post-image processing functions. As well as assigned quality and inventory control duties. The technologist may educate patients and/or students in MRI procedures.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate competency in all MRI equipment and procedures
Protect patients from magnetic and mechanical hazards
Prepare studies for interpretation by the Radiologist
Accurately utilizes the HER and PACS systems to perform job-related tasks
Assists with training of new employees and students. Provide a positive learning experience.
Ability to assist patients of all ages
Cross trained in CT and General imaging
Position Requirements:
Associate’s degree Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) and current State of Wisconsin License as a Licensed Radiographer
Current BLS certification
Basic Computer competency skills are expected for this position
Microsoft Office Suite Skills – Beginning skills, Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, changing font, saving a document, and writing a letter.
Work Shift:
Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Holiday rotation: 2-3 holidays per year, rotating shifts
