Job Description:
Ensuring the office is organized and clean
Handle reception duties including front desk, answering phone, opening mail, etc.
Purchasing and ordering necessary office supplies
Coordinate appointments
Obtain patient insurance authorizations and file medical and prosthetics and durable medical equipment claims
Take payments from clients and maintain accurate records of collections and balances
Qualifications:
1-3 years of administrative experience (medical, dental, prosthetics, a plus)
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience working with QuickBooks Accounting Software is a plus but is not required
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills and ability to interact with patients, families, and associate practitioners
Ability to work well independently, take initiative, and follow through.
