Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehab Services department on a Full-Time basis.
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for the full range of physical therapy treatments and tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising physical therapist.
Essential Functions:
Provides treatment based on treatment plans
Ensures the education of the patient and the family
Provides coordination of care.
Coordinates a schedule and treatment plan with patients to ensure their needs are met
Position Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited two-year college program approved by the APTA with proof of successful completion of the program
Licensed as a physical therapist assistant in the State of Wisconsin or eligible for licensing
Current BLS certification
Basic computer competency skills are expected for this position
Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, and write a letter.
Work Shift:
Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
40 hours per week
Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday, 4 or 5 days per week
Scheduled Shift: Between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
