Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Sleep Disorders Center Coordinator to join our team on a Full-Time basis in our Sleep Lab department.
The Sleep Center Coordinator is responsible for performing polysomnograms, other sleep disorders tests, and other functions of the polysomnographic technician. Additionally, the Sleep Disorders Coordinator aids the Medical Director and Manager with general oversight of the Sleep Disorders Center, including: personnel management, technical oversight and consulting, quality management, policy and procedure management, and ensuring compliance with the standards of the AASM and other regulatory bodies.
Position Requirements:
Required: Completion of a AASM approved Sleep Lab training program
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years Sleep Center experience.
Required Licensure: Currently Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
Certification: Requires current BLS certification. Prefer current ACLS certification.
Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills - Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas and prepare charts for reports
Work Shift:
Full-Time, .85 FTE
34 hours per week
Work Hours: 12-hour night shifts and two 4-hour day shifts bi-weekly
Scheduled Days: Variable
Every 3rd Friday
