Title: Full-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (with light meal prep support)
Location: Sun Prairie, WI
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Proposed Start Date: ASAP (Ideally by November 3)
Compensation: $25–30/hour based on experience (paid on the books)

Requirements:
-Maintain a smoke free environment
-Pass background check
-Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided for errands and driving)

-CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
Proposed Schedule:
-Monday–Friday, approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, however this might vary depending on parent schedule
(Combination of fixed and flexible hours; 20 fixed hours in afternoon and 20 flexible as needed)
About Our Family:
We are a busy, engaged family of four with two school-aged children (ages 7 and 10) and a 7-month-old mini goldendoodle. Both parents work full-time from home—one with regular travel and the other transitioning back into a corporate role with some travel.
We’re looking for a capable, proactive, and organized individual to join our household—someone who can manage day-to-day logistics, help keep our home running smoothly, and confidently step into a leadership role when parents are traveling or working late.
Our ideal candidate is warm but structured, reliable, communicative, and solution-oriented—someone who anticipates needs, sets boundaries kindly, and takes initiative. The right person will bring calm, structure, and efficiency to our busy household while genuinely connecting with our children and respecting their rhythms.
Key Responsibilities:
Family Support & Child Assistance:
-Handle school/activity drop-offs and pick-ups
-Supervise playdates or host at home
-Encourage executive functioning with kids—helping them take ownership of tasks like laundry and tidying
-Provide sick-day and after-school supervision
-Support screen-free afternoons with reading, creative play, or rest
Household Management & Organization:
-Ensure key household systems are running smoothly
-Maintain and improve home organization systems (closets, pantry, storage, toys)
-Reset and tidy living area daily; prep the home for bi-weekly cleaning service
-Manage seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding) and track upcoming needs
-Support packing for trips or activities
-Support in preparation for family events, holidays, and guest stays
-Oversee children’s room tidiness
-Coordinate returns, donation drop-offs and pickups
-Supervise and schedule vendors and household service providers (cleaners, landscapers, handymen, etc.)
Inventory & Errands:
-Manage household inventories for pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies, and cleaning supplies
-Coordinate online orders (Amazon, Target), item shopping, and restocking
-Run errands: groceries, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, mail/packages
-Sort and organize deliveries
Meal Planning & Preparation:
-Plan and prep simple, healthy meals (Sunday–Thursday) in collaboration with the family
-Prep ingredients and make weeknight dinners (e.g., deconstructed, family-friendly meals)
-Grocery shopping for weekly staples and ad-hoc needs
-Pack school lunches and prep snacks
-Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
Laundry & Linen Care:
-Wash, dry, fold, and organize children’s laundry
-Support kids in sorting and putting away their laundry as they continue to grow in responsibility and executive function
-Rotate bedding and towels weekly; restock essentials
Pet Care:
-Manage grooming and daycare appointments
-Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
-Administer monthly heartworm medication
Vendor & Property Oversight:
-Schedule and supervise maintenance and service providers
-Research, coordinate, and follow up on household repairs
-Assist with seasonal property care
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
-Manage shared family calendar, activity schedules, and reminders
-Assist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest prep
