Kalish Masonry is currently seeking both Masons and Masonry Laborers to join our crews, and an Equipment Maintenance Manager for our shop! We serve the Madison market doing residential and commercial masonry.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
MASON
Necessary Requirements for MASONS:
-A minimum of 4 years of quality masonry installation experience – attention to detail and craftsmanship is important we are willing to hire apprentices with less than required experience – pay based on experience
-Must have knowledge of proper installation of brick, block, stone, and thin veneer products
-Must have all required tools
-Positive attitude, accuracy, cleanliness, good work ethic, and ability to work well with other team members
-Ability to be on time and work all required days
-Ability to take direction from Foreman
-A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation to get to/from jobsites
Job Duties for MASONS: Installation of masonry, building leads, completing proper layout and running on the line, etc.
MASONS work Hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime available but not required.
Compensation for MASONS: $28-40+ per hour dependent on experience (paycheck weekly via direct deposit). Health, vision and dental insurance available after 60 days. 50% of health insurance paid by employer.

MASONRY LABORER
Necessary Requirements for MASONRY LABORERS:
-A minimum of 4 years masonry experience required
-A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation to and from the jobsites
-Positive attitude, good work ethic, and ability to work well with other team members
-Ability to be on time and work all required days
-Ability to take direction from Foreman
Job Duties for MASONRY LABORERS: Assist in building of scaffolding, stock material, mix mortar and grout, make accurate cuts, maintain a clean work area, ect.
MASONRY LABORERS work Hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime available but not required.
Compensation for MASONRY LABORERS: $22-30 per hour dependent on experience and knowledge (paycheck weekly via direct deposit). Health, vision and dental insurance available after 60 days. 50% of health insurance paid by employer.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
We are hiring an Equipment Maintenance Manager for our shop in Springfield Corners, only a few miles outside of Middleton. The majority of the work is indoors, so the hours are not weather dependent. The best fit for this position is someone who is efficient, adaptable, and comfortable taking on responsibility.
Necessary Requirements for EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER:
- A valid driver’s license, your own reliable transportation (to get to/from work), and a clean driving record for the past 10 years to drive non-CDL vehicles (required)
- CDL a plus
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance for small engines, small equipment, and pneumatic tools (required)
- Welding/fabrication experience (required)
- Industrial Forklift, skytrak, and bobcat experience (preferred)
- Electrical knowledge (preferred)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, cleanliness, and good work ethic required
- Good organizational & time management skills
- Ability to be on time and work all required days
Job Duties for EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER:
- Repair, clean, and maintain shop equipment and tools
- Maintain and clean vehicles
- Load & unload trucks
- Coordinate and communicate with foremen regarding needed materials and any issues with tools or equipment
- Order and pick up materials from vendors, deliver materials and equipment to jobsites
- Maintain updated list of shop inventory
- Complete quarterly inspections of equipment and tools
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER work schedule: Monday – Friday, 10AM-6PM.
Compensation for EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER: $22-$30+ per hour dependent on experience (paycheck weekly via direct deposit). Health, vision and dental insurance available after 60 days. 50% of health insurance paid by employer.

Silica training and Safety training is provided for all employees
Additional training provided based on job duties – tube scaffolding, hydro-mobile, rough terrain forklift, bobcat
