Two Part Time Positions at Horse Farm: Get paid to work out, no need for the gym!
Monday - Friday 6:30am-12:00pm
Two to Three weekdays (flexible which days) 6:30am - 12:00pm
NOTE: WE HAVE AN AUTOMATIC BARN CLEANER SYSTEM so no wheel barrels here.
Daily job duties include: changing blankets on horses, leading horses from stalls to turnout areas, carrying & stacking 40-50# bales of hay, cleaning stalls, shoveling snow, pulling weeds, running a weed eater, lawn mowing, basic minor farm repairs and some light janitorial duties. Applicant needs to be capable and comfortable with a few small jobs on ladders, like changing light bulbs and cleaning windows or ceilings.
Preference to those who have horse care experience and/or skills with farm equipment. We can train a willing individual who is not intimidated by large animals. Applicant must be reliable, punctual and capable of a physical job on a farm.
Hours: Always a start time of 6:30am and generally the shift is done at 12:00pm. This is a working farm, some days we may be done earlier and other days we may work a bit later. It depends on the weather and what the daily work load entails.
