Lead Carpenter/Construction Laborer

General Laborer:

Duties include:

- Load and unload materials and equipment at the construction site.

- Clean and prepare construction sites.

- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

- Perform general maintenance tasks to support ongoing construction projects.

-Assist in any construction related needs.

Requirements:

-MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE WITHIN APPROX 1 HOUR RADIUS OF DODGEVILLE.

- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is a plus.

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.

- Valid driver's license.

Lead Carpenter

The position of Lead Carpenter will handle every aspect of the job from Frame to Finish.

Requirements:

- Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision plus train and oversee employees as needed.

- Previous experience in construction framing and finishing.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment and individually.

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.

- Valid driver's license.

Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.

Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.

Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction or extractive workers.

Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.

Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.

Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.

Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.

Order or requisition materials or supplies.

Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.

Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.

Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.

Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.
