CENTURY 21 Affiliated's Property Management division (Waypoint Property Management Services) is trying to 'nail down' a Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities:
-Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
-Perform repairs, installations, and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and damaged systems
-Diagnose and/or repair limited problems with heating, electricity, gas, and water systems
-Be on-call to respond to emergency issues after hours
-Maintain general property upkeep including landscaping, painting, and basic carpentry
-Inspect and maintain alarm systems
-Address plumbing issues such as unclogging drains and repairing toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers
-Perform basic electrical repairs such as switches, lightbulb replacement, plugs, and wiring
-Assist tenants by unlocking apartments in cases of lost or forgotten keys
-Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED certificate preferred
-Vocational or trade school certification preferred
-1-2 years of experience in maintenance or similar construction/carpentry role preferred but not required
-Customer-first attitude with a commitment to providing stellar customer service
-Ability to work well in a team environment while also being a dynamic self-starter
-Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills
-Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
-Ability to perform under pressure, multitask, and prioritize workload
-Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
Medium physical demands, including the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. This position participates in an on-call rotation and will receive a weekly incentive.
