Aquatics Coordinator
Supervise lifeguards and aquatic programming at the pool and the waterfront.
Work with the Facility Manager and pool staff to maintain a clean, safe, and secure aquatic facility, including the daily checking of pool chemicals.
Create lifeguard shift schedules with the support of the Assistant Director of Camp Programs & Expeditions.
Communicate and enforce all aquatic policies and procedures with staff and campers.
Report any hazards in aquatic settings to the Assistant Director of Camp Programs & Expeditions and the Facility Manager.
Actively participate in camp programming outside of water-based activities including evening activities, camper choice time, bus duty, and more.
Support the Program Coordinator(s) in the planning and delivery of all-camp activities, including theme days and evening programs.
REQUIREMENTS & CERTIFICATIONS
Must reside in shared staff housing on the LVC resident camp property in Boscobel, WI starting with two weeks of staff training in June and ending after the last camp program lets out in mid-August.
Current Lifeguard Certification (PEAK can provide training prior to employment if needed).
Must be at least 18 to apply.
Previous experience working at a pool or other aquatics facility.
Previous experience as a lifeguard.
