This position is responsible for looking up, selling, receiving, and shipping of snow equipment parts, trailer parts, and vehicle accessories while also providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Represent and promote the business in a professional, honest manner at all times, including personal conduct, behavior, and appearance.
Sells parts, merchandise, and/or services to meet our customers needs.
Keep the parts department clean and organized.
Supply service technicians with parts as needed.
Maintain the retail sales floor and displays.
When working the parts counter, follow the procedures of processing cash, credit, or check transactions.
Process warranties and returns of merchandise.
Receive and fill telephone and email orders for parts.
Package and prepare parts packages for shipping.
Place new merchandise on display.
Invoicing parts orders shipped and walk in customer orders.
Take inventory of stock.
Place orders through vendors using purchase orders.
Receive, check in, and put away parts orders.
Pull parts and stage for in-house repair/installation jobs.
Perform various other duties as assigned.
Participate in all job-related training/attend training schools.
Look up parts online or via catalog to fulfill customer needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
Industry experience (preferred)
Mechanical knowledge or repair experience (preferred)
Basic Computer Skills
Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred)
Customer service skills
Ability to lift 40-60lbs regularly (60 + with the help of another person)
Ability to be on feet majority of a shift
Job Type: Full-Time (35-45 hours/week)
Job Schedule: Monday – Friday
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
OR
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $20.00+/Hour (depending on experience)
