Assistant Systems Technician
Commissioning, program and service of intelligent fire alarm systems, card access & CCTV systems. Duties include system design, panel configuration, panel wiring, programming, testing and inspection, coordination of electrical and mechanical trades. Some local travel required. Advancement potential includes systems design and project management.
Inspection and Test Technician
Perform scheduled maintenance and service of intelligent fire alarm systems, card access & CCTV systems. Assist Systems Technicians with new systems commissioning. Advancement to Systems Technician.
Job Requirement, Education, training, experience:
Minimum of ASEE degree required in electronics or related work field
valid WI drivers license and clean driving record is required
Minimum 2 years experience in COMMERCIAL Fire Alarm and Security industry
Must possess excellent communications skills
Strong working knowledge of Windows, computers and networking preferred
Knowledge of test equipment to include multi-meters, battery analyzers, decibel meters and communication devices preferred
Ability to learn WI codes
Knowledge of basic construction and installation techniques and principals
NICET Fire Alarm Certification is a plus
