We are looking for Framing Carpenters to add to our crews!
New construction residential
Work sites in Dane County
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Framers start with the bare concrete foundation and build the wooden framework of the house.
Ability to use basic and intermediate hand tools and power tools/machinery
Accurately measure distances and/or materials such as boards, timbers, plywood, etc.,; make sure material is plumb/level
Install rough door and window frames, subflooring, and temporary supports as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and various layouts
Exceptional written and oral communication (English)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to safely lift/carry 50-75lbs or more frequently
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong work ethic
Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license strongly preferred - Must have reliable transportation to and from job site(s)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
SHIFT DETAILS:
Mondays through Thursdays, 7am to 4pm
Fridays 7am to 12pm
-No nights / No weekends-
COMPENSATION:
Based on experience and skillset.
Typically $20 with no experience
$22+ with a few years of framing experience
