PAY: $35.00 per hour
HOURS: 40-50 hours/ week
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00am - 5:00pm
START DATE: ASAP

Heavy Equipment Operator job description:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator with Superior Skilled Trades, you will play a key role in site preparation and earthwork for construction projects in the Iron Ridge, WI area. Your primary duties will include operating excavators and dozers to perform excavation, grading, and backfilling tasks, with some general labor and groundwork as needed to support crew operations.
Qualifications of the Heavy Equipment Operators:
4 years or more operating equipment
Experience operating Excavators and Dozers.
Experience operating equipment with GPS is a plus
Knowledge of basic OSHA regulations
Safely operate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and other earth-moving equipment.
Perform precise grading and excavation according to site plans and project specifications.
Load and move materials such as dirt, rock, and debris using heavy equipment.
Use GPS and grade control systems to maintain accurate excavation depths and site elevations (if experienced).
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., fluid checks, greasing).
Work in coordination with site supervisors, foremen, and other crew members to meet project timelines.
Assist withgroundwork, including site cleanup, trenching, and other manual tasks as needed.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety standards and site regulations.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to & from the shop
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
