A+ Lawn Care is a family-owned business in DeForest with consistent growth each year! We service the DeForest/Sun Prairie area for commercial snow removal and pride ourselves on our service.
We are currently hiring for Snow Removal Operators (truck with plow, skidsteer, wheel loader, massey tractor) and Sidewalk Crew (machine operator, shoveler) for the upcoming snow season starting Nov1/early November, with a seasonal bonus. Must have experience operating in snow . Must have valid drivers license for specific operator positions. Pay will be based on experience, $35-50 for operators and $24-30 for sidewalk crew. Full time winter only, Full time year round or part time winter only. Depending on the position applied for, work may be able to begin before snow or starting November 1st.
Potential for over time and bonuses. Benefits for full time employees after probationary period.
Requirements:
Must have recent experience operating in snow.
Able to be on-call, dependable and work weekends and holidays when necessary due to weather - we can't control when mother nature decides to snow!
Must have reliable transportation to and from shop site in Deforest.
Must have valid drivers license for specific operator positions.
Reliable - able to show up on time. Our customers depend on us and we depend on you, which requires you to be on time and show up each snow event
Must take pride in your work - quality is key
Able to work in a very fast-paced environment
Able to follow direction and be self-motivated, as well as be a team-player
Able to lift 50 plus pounds as needed
Have a smart phone to communicate
