Job Title: CNC Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, ensuring parts meet specifications, and maintaining a high level of quality control. This position involves working within OSHA and ISO standards and performing daily preventative maintenance duties.Responsibilities
Read and complete machine set-up sheets.
Set up machines for production use.
Assist with quality control plan details.
Follow 1st piece inspection procedure.
Acquire parts to be machined.
Read blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to understand production requirements.
Machine parts to required specifications.
Inspect machined pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Move parts to designated areas.
Replace worn tooling as needed.
Remove and return tooling upon job completion.
Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency.
Work within OSHA and ISO standards.
Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC machinery
Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tooling instructions
Experience in machine set-up
5+ years of CNC experience
2+ years of experience at each previous company
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with machine shop environment
Knowledge of quality control procedures
Experience on 1st and 2nd shifts
