Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to carry out a variety of skilled maintenance tasks. This includes maintaining structures, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration. Other responsibilities include transporting materials as needed, testing and monitoring the fire system and extinguishers, maintaining the service schedule on cranes, and performing maintenance on vehicles and forklifts, as requested. You will also be responsible for general building upkeep, snow removal, and participating in pickups/deliveries with company vehicles. In this role, you will be expected to continuously improve on department practices and procedures, coordinate and implement cost-saving measures, and support ISO 9001, LEAN manufacturing and 5S practices.Hard Skills

Work EnvironmentThis role involves a variety of tasks and will require the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be able to work under general supervision, with work subject to final inspection and check.
