Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Mequon, Wisconsin. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and primarily involves handling accounts payable tasks in a manufacturing setting, including managing customer inboxes, scanning, and performing check runs.Responsibilities Accurately manage and process invoices using a 3-way match system. Perform regular check runs to ensure timely payments. Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records. Handle customer inquiries related to accounts payable and resolve them efficiently. Collaborate with the purchasing department to facilitate vendor communication. Utilize MS Dynamics for various accounting functions. Ensure accurate coding of account transactions. Monitor customer accounts and implement appropriate actions when necessary. Process time and expense reports in an organized manner. Uphold a comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable principles. Requirements Must possess skills in Account Coding and Accounting Functions. Proficiency with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is necessary. Proficiency in using MS Great Plains Dynamics is required. Must have a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Experience with Check Runs is necessary. Familiarity with 3 Way Matching is required. Must have a thorough understanding of General Ledger. Experience in the Manufacturing sector is a plus. Must be comfortable with Scanning documents as part of the role.
