Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required, MBA a plus
5 or more years of experience in accounting in manufacturing environment
CPA or CMA is preferred

Responsibilities:
Principal Accountabilities
Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Oversee the accounting operations especially their control systems, transaction processing operations, and policies and procedures
Drive value added analysis to allow management to make sound business decisions
Manage all cash flow processes
Perform and manage cost accounting
Oversee administrative support staff including but not limited to purchasing and coordinating IT support
Transactions
Compile and analyze financial data to prepare appropriate journal entries for month-end reporting
Ensure that accounts payable are paid accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure that accounts receivable balances are collected promptly
Ensure that bank and credit card accounts are reconciled
Ensure that required debt payments are made a timely basis
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Review contracts
Perform international reconciliation of accounts
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions and recommend processing and procedure improvements
Monitor production costing and labor costing
Reporting
Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of complete financial statements and related reports.
Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
Provide for a system of management cost reports
Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Work with external accountants to verify and provide requested financial data
Compliance
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including the preparation of sales and use tax returns, and property tax returns.
