Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Deli Staff Member to join our team! If you have a passion for food, basic knife skills, and experience handling deli meats and cheeses, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve deli meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and other food items according to company standards
Operate slicers, scales, and other deli equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and prep areas
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety compliance
Assist customers with orders, provide recommendations, and ensure excellent service
Stock and rotate deli products to maintain freshness
Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a deli or food service environment required
Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs at times.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
