Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a reliable Phone Router to manage incoming calls efficiently and direct them to the appropriate team members or departments. You will serve as a critical communication link by answering phones, assessing caller needs, and routing calls according to our established process. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, and comfortable managing multiple calls with clear communication skills. You should be comfortable working independently, following protocols, and providing friendly support to callers, many of whom are from underserved communities. Training will be provided to ensure you understand our systems and caller routing procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
Identify caller needs and route calls to the appropriate staff or department accurately.
Maintain clear and courteous communication with callers, providing basic information when appropriate.
Document call details and messages when required.
Assist with general office duties on occasion, as needed, with training.
Position Requirements:
Passing background check.
Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
Ability to quickly learn phone system and call routing procedures.
Comfortable working independently and following detailed instructions.
Reliable, consistent availability during scheduled hours.
