Prince of Peace Day Care Center is a small non-profit Christian day care opened for 35+ years and we are looking to add full time and part time teachers to our team.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
Attend to each child's specific needs such as holding, comforting, feeding, diapering, etc.
Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development and physical health.
Create exciting lesson plans based on child observations and goals.
Teach skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, self-help skills and social skills.
Read books, sing songs, perform finger plays and flannel board stories to entire class or to small groups.
Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development such as games, arts and crafts, music and storytelling.
Prepare required paperwork daily, weekly, monthly.
Perform cleaning tasks in the classroom such as sweeping, mopping, dishes and sanitizing etc.
You must be on the Wisconsin Registry (Only Serious Qualify Candidates Apply).

Infant Room teachers
Floating teacher to help in classrooms where needed, help cover breaks during the day, help cover vacations, with the opportunity in the future to be assigned a permanent classroom.
As we hire new staff there will be the opportunity to work with other age groups.
