Description:
• Work within a team to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications prod/non-prod AWS environments following a secure standard development lifecycle.
• Influence other teams, broader Engineering groups and DevOps Leaders in adopting Cloud technologies, processes, and security best practices.
• Create secure application deployment pipelines with GitLab, configuring and monitoring SAST, DAST and RASP solutions to address code vulnerabilities.
• Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environment and security practices.
• Work with Risk Management and Compliance teams to assess risk and security controls to ensure target services are hardened and secure.
• Frequent technologies used in this role are: AWS, Ansible, Docker, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Kubernetes and various application security and cloud configuration tools.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and risk mitigation techniques.
• Development background using technologies such as Javascript, Java, Powershell and Python.
• Ability to mentor, teach and assist others on secure coding best practices and secure coding libraries.
• Experience working with Agile Development Practices and secure software development lifecycle.
Seeking 3-5 years of experience
Local candidates are preferred but remote will be considered
Must haves
Experience with agile development, development languages, security vulnerability management, application security tool configuration and monitoring, Cloud, SDLC, secure application development pipelines, OWASP Top 10 and mitigation techniques.
Nice to haves:
Advanced security education and certifications.
