Description We are inviting applications for the position of Help Desk Analyst II, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role lies in the intersection of IT, customer service, and problem-solving. The chosen candidate will be involved in managing user support requests, maintaining hardware and software inventory, and contributing to the effective use of our technology resources. Responsibilities: Handle, diagnose, and resolve user support requests, using corporate resources and tools. Keep a detailed record of issues and requests through our corporate reporting/ticketing system, from initiation to resolution. Analyze and identify the root causes of recurring incidents, and propose long-term solutions. Stay informed about the overall network and system availability. Assess end user requirements and provide suggestions for the most efficient use of technology. Collaborate with team members to recommend technological changes based on user and organizational needs. Ensure compliance with cyber safety protocols and report any potentially risky conditions or behaviors. Assist in implementing automated tasks to reduce manual installation, configuration, and maintenance needs. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all technology hardware equipment and software. Install software, computer systems, and peripheral equipment according to organizational and cyber safety practices. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through interactions with other IT personnel, vendors, technical resources, and training. Assist with software and hardware testing to evaluate ease of use and whether they meet user needs. Review, revise, and create technical and user documentation, processes, and procedures. Prepare written and electronic reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed. Maintain confidentiality of network users, data, lists, rights, and permissions. Attend meetings, conferences, and other workshops as assigned, and perform other related duties as assigned.
