The House Manager's caseload will involve programs located in the Milwaukee area.At Dungarvin, we don’t just provide support—we transform lives. As a House Manager, you will lead residential programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities alongside complex behavioral and mental health needs.This is not a traditional group home leadership role. This is an opportunity for a strong, hands-on leader who thrives in high-acuity environments, can confidently guide teams through crisis situations, and is passionate about person-centered, trauma-informed care.The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising staff and working with adults with disabilities and challenging behaviors, as well as with those requiring crisis management and behavioral interventions. This position is a mixture of admin and direct care duties.What You’ll Do:Lead and oversee residential programs, including high-acuity behavioral homes (AFH settings)Supervise, coach, and develop teams of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)Drive implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and partner on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)Provide leadership during crisis situations, ensuring safe, consistent, and compliant responsesCollaborate with families, case managers, and clinical teams to ensure quality careManage program operations including staffing, budgets, and complianceTrain new and existing staff on behavioral interventions, safety protocols, and best practicesConduct performance management, including coaching, evaluations, and disciplinary action as neededParticipate in an on-call rotation, supporting both traditional and behavioral programsWork Environment and Office Hours: This position is in-office, providing site supervision for direct care staff. This role involves typical office hours, Monday through Friday, full-time. Additionally, the House Manager must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on-call during the on-call rotation (this includes weekends and odd hours).
