MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON-SITE. FTE:
1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Monday-Friday 8-4:30, no weekends, holiday, or
on call. Job Summary: Assists in guidance and coordination of care for
patients/families from the time of diagnosis and need for procedure
through the insurance pre authorization process. Delivers and
communicates results to internal and external customers. Works with
various organizational teams and medical staff to coordinate care.
Serves as a liaison connecting patients/families with various
disciplines and resources according to individual needs. Other
information: EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 3 years of relevant
procedural experience is required. Procedural experience as a
Technologist or RN is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Associate Degree
in a Healthcare related field is required. A bachelor's degree in a
Healthcare-related field is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Experience
with obtaining prior authorizations is required.SPECIAL SKILLS
DESCRIPTION: Effective communication and strong organizational skills
are required. Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment working
positively with physicians, other professional disciplines, and outside
agencies. Ability to work autonomously. Experience working with various
types of medical insurance (i.e. private, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
preferred. ICD-10 and CPT coding experience preferred. LICENSURE
DESCRIPTION: A current Wisconsin State License as a Health Care
