actively seeking a dedicated professional to join our esteemed team as a

3rd Shift Manufacturing Process Engineer. Reporting directly to the Lean

Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be pivotal in optimizing and

enhancing our manufacturing processes on the production floor. If you

commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and meticulously

document injection molding processes employing scientific molding

principles. Oversee mold revisions and repairs to ensure optimal

functionality. Provide recommendations for corrective actions, acting as

a liaison between Engineering, Quality Assurance, Tool Room, and

Manufacturing for mold and process-related matters. Collaborate with the

Senior Manufacturing Manager on machine specifications, training needs

assessments for Process Technicians and Machine Operators, process

capabilities, and implementing cost savings projects. Conduct visual

inspections of manufactured parts to uphold the highest quality

standards. Additional Responsibilities: Facilitate coordination and

resolution of processing-related deviations. Undertake other duties as

assigned to contribute to the dynamic needs of our team. Key for

Success: Available to work the schedule of Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm -

7:00 am. Proficiency in performing injection mold set-ups and start-ups.

Strong written and oral communication skills. Capability to conduct

DOE's and interpret results. Ability to comprehend and analyze SPC and

DOE data and results. Proficient in interpreting 2-D CAD drawings.

Thorough understanding of mold construction and mold set-up. Extensive

knowledge of the operation of injection molding machines and auxiliary

equipment. Proficient troubleshooting skills to identify causes of

processing problems. Mechanical aptitude. Technical drawing knowledge

and understanding Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent

required. Degree or certification in plastic technologies preferred. 5+

years of advanced experience in all aspects of injection molding. Solid

working knowledge of thermoplastics processing, resin processing

characteristics, mold construction, cavity construction, and gate

design. Ability to troubleshoot mold/process-related problems.

Familiarity with SPC/DOE's. Knowledge of mold-making procedures. Basic

computer skills are necessary, with experience in spreadsheets, word

documents, and saving files preferred. Physical ability to

lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs, stand/walk for up to 12 hours when

assigned, and flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends as
