Job: Material Handler - ForkliftLocation: Milwaukee, WIType: Full time 1st shift, Temp to hirePay: $17.50-$19Duties and Responsibilities: :
Operate needed warehouse equipment as assigned.
Operate forklift.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
Uses computer or handheld to utilize WMS system to look up, verify data, process sales orders or purchase orders related to incoming and outgoing orders
Follows all building safety procedures and PPE
Retrieves product from warehouse locations and assembles customer orders
Affixes shipping labels on packages or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment
Perform other duties as assigned

6+ months of previous forklift experience
Must be able to read, write, and interpret English instructions
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, suppliers, and customers
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Able to lift up to 70 Ibs
Effective verbal communication skills
Computer skills - Basic knowledge and ability to look up and enter data
Able to use a variety of hand tools
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
