Seeking a Design Engineer/Project ManagerJob Description: We have a unique opening for a full-time project manager/designer with a background in mechanical engineering, architecture, or construction. The position involves managing projects from the design phase all the way through installation. It requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a self-starter attitude.Education Requirements: Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience Requirements: AutoCAD: 2 years (Preferred)Incentive Compensation: Performance-based annual bonus planQualifications: Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels. Highly motivated. Learns quickly.Responsibilities:
Design and detailing of shop drawings for stairs, railings, ladders, and other miscellaneous steel using AutoCAD LT and Autodesk Advance Steel software
Working with architects and engineers to work through and solve design issues
Work with customers to manage schedules and scope changes
Field measuring of existing conditions
Ordering materials and tracking costs
Work with shop and field employees to answer fabrication or installation questions
