What's the role?

Help expand the enterprise platforms that provide information to our clients and financial experts through email, web-based, and mobile messaging, along with customized preferences. This digital product role is a front and back-end focused position that works across the enterprise to improve digital communications for servicing our clients and financial experts. Work with a hard-working team of engineers, designers, product, and business experts in an agile methodology to deliver on outcomes.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Business Expertise: Partner with peer group, business partners and product management to learn business area/domain, while continuing to learn and grow knowledge across the enterprise. Translate business needs & requirements from business collaborators into features.

Current State, Future State and Gap Analysis: Assess & document current state, future state and gap analysis for business processes and solutions.

Gather Requirements: Responsible for fact-based requirement gathering, including all system, technical and intake requests. Understand the problem statement and unmet needs of the client for the objective of defining the product. Work with technology, design, customers/users, to craft and test the product and communicate why this is the right product, how it will work, and what defines metrics for success.

Author User Stories and/or Features: Author user stories and/or features independently with low to medium complexity while participating in some task-based work in higher complexity situations. Assist throughout the development process as required. Translate requirements to technical details to build and validate use cases and user stories around a product and communicate them effectively.

Project Management: Use project management principles to successfully complete and advance work. Collaborate with senior PM/PO on vision, roadmap, and feature priorities. Define and track critical metrics/KPIs for measure of success.

Facilitate Ceremonies: Participate in the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Test Plan Review: Assist with coordinating and reviewing test plans for smaller or non-complex efforts. Independently provide execution on testing as needed (UAT, checkouts, etc.) Review & complete test plans and test cases

  • Bachelor's degree or similar combination of experience and education.
  • 1-3 Years Prior Experience in industry or business.
  • Ability to lean on strong communication skills to influence outcomes while approaching conflict with organizational savviness.
  • Domain expertise via previous internships or similar roles in the past.
  • Deep familiarity of agile & scrum development environments.
  • Strong communication skills, strong time management, project management skills, and eye for business.
  • Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
  • Ability to translate product requirements into technical requirements and work in ambiguity and solution.
